I took my daughter with me the other day and she had to go to the bathroom. I approached a very unhappy looking associate and they usually will give you a passcode to the bathroom but this girl said she would have someone let us in. After a few minutes of waiting no one showed and my kid almost peed her pants until I yelled very loudly: "My kid's about to pee her pants guys." Then the nice lady in the framing area just turned to me and told me the code.....
I shop there a lot because I bake and it's always split 50/50 as far as the atmosphere with the associates. Sometimes they are super friendly but mostly I encountered emo vibes ....

Was asked to apply for a credit card and asked is it a soft or hard pull. The sweet lady did not know . I had no cellular service in place so couldn't check. Well after getting a credt card found out it's 5 points off my credit score . Wow. While I have excellent credit this was a shock. I wish I had not ever been asked cause it sounded good lol live and learn. The store has a lot yet still ordering off line . It's fun for getting your craft on

I usually don’t mind quick runs to Michael’s—I’m not overly particular—but this specific location has consistently stood out for all the wrong reasons. Of all the Michael’s stores I’ve visited, this one has the rudest, slowest staff and some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced.
All I needed was a quick answer: just to be pointed toward a specific item. I waited patiently while one of the employees was blowing up balloons for another customer. I didn’t want to interrupt, so I stood nearby, expecting to be acknowledged eventually. But after 40 minutes of being completely ignored—and watching another clerk walk past me without a word—I finally asked politely, “Excuse me, I’m looking for this item. Could you please point me to the right aisle?”
Without looking up, she told me to wait as she was in the middle of something

Fantastic Michaels. The staff here are friendly, kind and helpful. There is so much to find in this store. Arts and crafts, framing and other fun things in between. Everything is well organized. You could spend days in here just looking at stuff! Love the seasonal stuff like Valentines Day goodies right now. ❤️

Self checkout and ZERO staff help are exactly why I will shop online.
I'm forced to use the self check, which malfunctions when I scan my coupon. Clerk keeps yelling instructions to me from behind the counter, instead of simply coming to ring it up herself. This results in me having to waste MY time waiting for a second clerk to come show the first clerk how to process a refund. Exactly how is this saving you money, Michael's? Shopping at a craft store should not be frustrating.
