Spent over $50 on balloons (already absurd). One helium-filled balloon ($12) didn't even last a couple of hours through our child's birthday party. We asked for a refund and were told no, but we could refill it. Obviously, we don't need a giant shark balloon now that our kid's birthday party is over. We paid for a product ( a helium-filled balloon that should have lasted at least through the day) that we did not receive. This customer service is garbage.

They don't have the variety in crafts for kids like they used to. Very disappointed. Found a gem of a store in Walnut Creek. Will definitely go back to Lakeshore Learning.

Limited selections of jewelry, trinkets, and design item selection seem personal. The price in each store varies depending on the area. Also, notice that's theirs; someone is always telling them what to order for the public. Foremost, problem with incorrect personal profile info.
Micheal's is based on current trends and art demand to produce profitable revenue to serve the public.
Overall, I will still go their for basic items in the arts/craft/designs that other creative store fees/selections are high.

It was about what I’d expect from Michaels: a lot of stuff but not a lot of any one thing. I already miss Joann for the much larger yarn selection and the fabric department.

I made an online order to pick up the next day. I received a text, email and in the app it all said it was ready to pick up. I went to the store to pick it up and the manager Veronica said that she couldn't find it but did nothing to try to resolve it. Not even I'm sorry. Not that she would reach out to the person that said they pulled the order and put it out, nothing. I said I would return when I had time and hopefully they could find it by then. I am back now and they still couldn't find it however there was no evidence that any effort was put into find it nor was there a sorry from Veronica. I will say Angelia was very nice and tried to make it better, she at least said she was sorry and understand this is frustrating. Other then Angellia I am very disappointed in the service. I spend a lot of time and Money at this Michael's but guess I will have to make the drive to Emeryville or Alameda for now on. Horrible customer service!!!!!!

I use to be intimated by Michaels but I have grown to love it. Since starting my business they have been my go to for craft items. They are pretty reasonably priced and usually have a really good sale or coupons. The staff here is always nice and patient with me even if I don't know exactly what I'm looking for. Lol.. Parking can be a hassle depending on what time you go because of the bank next door and other popular stores in the plaza. I prefer to go later in the evening when the crowd dies down. No matter what DIY project or little home decor you're looking for.. Add Michaels to your list! Made this custom donation box for a Breast Cancer Fundraiser with mainly items purchased at Michaels!
