My friend had a thing to pick up here and so it was super easy. Her name was on the invoice and it's sitting in the display at the entrance. Just like picking up ordered-ahead food at a take out, this is ordered-ahead art supplies.
No one checked ID or asked, we just grabbed and go. That seems weird but it works.

This Michael's is smaller than most but still offers a good selection. Framing services are available with a smaller stock of frames on site. All of the usual products are available in a scaled back ratio with a focus on quality. Creatology, Bead Landing, Artist's Loft, and Loops & Threads are all still available for those on a budget. Just be prepared to make some compromises when it comes to selection.

The check out process is now self serve. No longer a friendly face to ask your questions to. In fact, they appeared very short in staffing.
I often need to ask questions when I go in to a Michael's store. Some of their products are esoteric and new to me.
One question I have for upper management is:
~ Historically, Michaels has been an expensive option when purchasing my art supplies. Will the removal of cashiers at check-out, bring down the prices overall?

I went in to pick up some yarn only to discover that it was going to cost me almost five dollars more to pick up the same three skeins of yarn then it would to order it online for either free pickup at the store or free delivery to my house.

Great to go for last minute art projects. I was doing an art project that involved a canvas, hog hair brush, oderless brush cleaner, and gesso. They have different varirties of all of the above. The service is very pleasant and efficient

This is one of the busiest shopping times of the year and only three clerks were checking people out. The line long enough to be into the store aisles. Management needs to provide more checkers. I stood in line for over a half hour for a single item.

Shopping Therapy. They are having a great Black Friday Sale! Customer Service was good. Store was clean & organized. Overall it’s a good store, this store is small compared to other locations, it feels a little cramped.
