I live in Brookings, OR. and I was looking for someone to do some custom embroidery on an apron. The apron was to be a gift for a neighbor who is literally a "Grill Master" and a GREAT neighbor and friend.

To the point of this, there is NO ONE in Brookings anymore who does embroidery, so I started looking elsewhere and came across Terry's Screen Printing and Embroidery, although the title of their website is "Terry's Wearable Art". They could use a new/better website, but suffice to say that it has TWO phone numbers, their address, and basic information about what they do.

I should start by saying that I was in a bit of a hurry to get the apron embroidered, but when I called and talked to the gentleman who answered their phone, he said they were pretty swamped and that it would take at least a week to get the work I needed done. So, I was a bit bummed, but I really had no other options.

The next morning (a Friday) my better half and I drove to Crescent City, located Terry's shop using a GPS navigation app, parked in the parking lot and walked inside. They were busy, so I waiting ... but not for long.

The woman behind the counter asked if I was the guy from Brookings who called, and I smiled and said that I was! She said that she'd JUST finished a job and that if I could wait an hour or so, that she could get to work on MY job immediately!

I was surprised but said YES!! I can wait!! So, I filled out a form with my info and exactly what I wanted embroidered on the apron, and my better half and I went over to Home Depot and then to Walmart to look for plants and plant related stuff for our garden. Those two side trips killed EXACTLY one hour, so we headed back to Terry's to see how thing were going.

When I walked in, she was very busy again, but I waited patiently. While I waited she looked at me and smiled and said, "It came out GREAT!" ... which pleased me even more! And she was RIGHT!

It turned out exceptionally well, EXACTLY how I wanted it, and I couldn't be happier with the work she did for me. To make things even better, she charged me precisely what I was quoted over the phone when I called them the day before!

This was a GREAT experience for me, and if you need custom embroidery done, I HIGHLY recommend Terry's! I can't predict that you'll get IMMEDIATE attention, like I did, but even if you have to wait, Terry's work is MORE than worth the wait!!

They’re quick to respond and always make sure we’re getting exactly what we want. They aren’t close to us, but we always receive our items fast. I would recommend Terry’s to anyone I know.

although I had given the owner two month in advance for custom sweatshirts I had ordered, they neglected to complete the order to standard. I checked in multiple times as a reminder and to get an update and when it should be completed. They continued to push off the order and gave me the run around. When picking the order up she told me she rushed and did it that day, she knows that she ordered the wrong style of jacket and the image is "good for what it is". When looking at the imaging it was crooked , over stretched, cracked, and the sweatshirt was completely the wrong style. I requested a refund and was denied even through the owner acknowledged she ordered it wrong.

It took about a month to get two shirts. The vinyl she uses will wash off in about 4 washes even if i turned them inside out. I am not the only member of my group who is disappointed in not only the quality of the work but also the time from drop off to pick up.
