The bottom line is that I love Calabasas Printing. They are my new printer. Calabasas Printing bailed me out of jam in a big way!

I had an urgent print job at another printer about 20 miles away. Their machine broke down and did not know when or if they would repair or replace. I called two other printers and got voicemail. I found Calabasas Printing and not a minute too soon. Darrin knew I was in a bind and could easily have charged a premium. Instead, I got a better price than my old printer.

I could not be happier to have Calabasas Printing in my Rolodex. I have a couple people who need a printer regularly and I just called them to tell the story.

Calabasas Printing in general is a great printing company to work with, unfortunately me and the company I work for had a bad experience with some mugs that we had ordered from them and it just left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered some mugs about a year ago and for a while I really liked them! They were of a high quality, it seemed, were a price I liked and the colors were done just right. Unfortunately after about a month or two, I noticed one day that my thumb was green! What the heck, right? It turns out the printing of our logo had started to fade, even with the slightest of touches. We had been using the dishwasher to wash the mugs but had never been told that they weren't dishwasher safe so this came as quite a shock to me. This was incredibly unfortunate because a) I had given some of these mugs out to perspective clients and b) we use them for client meetings and depositions. Obviously if you come in to a business and their mugs leave your hands with green stains, you're not going to be very happy. I reached out to Paul who asked me if I could send him any mugs that hadn't been used so they could be "tested." Unfortunately we had used all our mugs already and they had all already been washed so he told me nothing could be done... no refund, no replacements, no discounts.. Paul did assure me that he'd never use the vendor the mugs came from again, but I had to feel the same way about Calabasas Printing - I won't be ordering from them again.
To summarize my review, Calabasas Printing is a good company that will work with you to get what you need done; unfortunately I received a lemon that they didn't do anything about, and left me annoyed enough to find a new printing company.

I called them to do a last minute print job for me. They agreed to do it. In my conversation with Darrin and in my email, I asked for a top pole pocket for the banner. He said no problem and even confirmed with me that it would be finished that way.When it was picked up, it had two pockets on the side. No one hangs a banner like that. I emailed Darrin and asked why this mistake happened and he never responded. $180 wasted and the business didn't even have the courtesy to respond. Not a business I'd patronize again
