I’m sharing this to help anyone considering Mimaki’s wide-format printers understand the service landscape they’ll be dealing with.
Our company bought four units—well into the six-figure range—through Mimaki’s own New Jersey office. That office referred us to ITNH in New Hampshire, while day-to-day oversight was supposed to come from management out of Los Angeles. From there, things unraveled:
• Installation limbo. The installer ITNH sent could not complete setup; we had to bring in Mimaki technicians to finish the job.
• Parts already sunset. Only after the sale did we learn the printheads had been discontinued, leaving very few people qualified to work on our exact models.
• Distant, scarce technicians. The one person truly familiar with these printers was based in Brooklyn—three hours from our Pennsylvania facility—so every service call meant after-hours visits or long delays.
• Slow or missing follow-ups. Email threads often stretched for six months or more with no resolution. Dealers pointed us to Mimaki, Mimaki pointed us back to dealers, and critical downtime piled up.
Everyone we met was polite and occasionally showed real effort, but the overall structure—multiple hand-offs, limited expertise, and lengthy response times—never gave us the dependable support industrial equipment should come with. If you’re evaluating printers for a production environment, confirm (in writing) that parts are current, technicians are local, and service targets are measured in days, not months. Our multi-year experience suggests those assurances are far from guaranteed.

First i have purchased this machine with ITNH from Mimaki dealer, i have use this machine to print for my product
only, i don't have customer so the ink consumption is very low, ITHN complaint why i didn't purchase ink from them
and they have refused to provide support for the machine? imagine if you put 50K investment in the machine and they
told you that. i think they know the advantage that if they don't support your machine it will go to trash, because
if you contact Mimaki they will tell you to contact your dealer? i have made multiple calls and finally Mimaki support helped
file a complaint, Helen Polo has created the ticket and Billy from Gardena, California contacted me and told me that
every thing will be ok he was referred me to EXT Fabric, they have sent the tech over and try to fix the cleared head
because the negative pressure was low, he has it fixed and the changed the filter, after his visit i don't know what have
he done to the machine and now the Magenta head is not working? i have schedule another appointing and checked he stated
that the solenoid is not working so he order parts, third visit changed the solenoid and opened all of the machine out and wasted
5 of my ink bottle and diagnosed more problem,here are the part need to be order MAINTENANCE CIRCULATION HEAD ASSY VENT FILTER
TANK ASSEMBLY, to this point i am disbelieve in this company, and so Billy has disappear? PLEASE RECONSIDER WHEN PLANNED TO PURCHASE THE PRODUCT FROM MIMAKI, THEY SEEM LIKE MONOPOLY, THE MACHINE CAN ONLY BE FIX BY THEIR DEALER OR THEM, IF YOU CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY WILL ASK YOU TO CONTACT YOUR DEALER, IF YOUR DEALER REFUSE YOU ARE DONE. I HOPE MIMAKI CORP WILL READ THIS REVIEW AND TAKE ACTION, I AM THE MIMAKI PRODUCT OWNER AND I WAS TREATED VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNFAIR.
