Where do I start with Sumi Printing & Binding? Here’s the backstory: I had over 300 pages of card stock and printer paper I needed bind. It was too thick for the average FedEx, Office Depot, etc. I called 6 different book binding places and none could do the job. One place I called said they could for $120!
Then I called Sumi and Roland picked up the phone. I explained my situation and he kindly told me to just bring it and they could work something out. It was so refreshing to have a person simply say they’d take care of it without reviewing all the complications with me.
When I arrived, I was pleasantly greeted by Roland and John. 🙂 Roland explained that most of his business is large orders and yet they still treated little ol’ me with so much care, kindness, and they actually listened to me! I was so moved and impressed that they would even take this order. John found the perfect sized coil and completed the job in ONE DAY. ONE DAY! They could have said they were too busy or put it on the back burner, but they didn’t.
When I asked John how much I owe them, he said not to worry about it. They didn’t even let me pay! Every step of my interaction with Sumi was above and beyond and truly made my week. THANK YOU is not enough. It’s the little things that truly make a difference and for such a successful business it’s clear they value people and taking good care of anyone that reaches out to them.

Hands down, the best print company I've worked with. Everyone on the team is extremely knowledgeable and takes amazing care of you. The print quality and turnaround time were incredible and they can do perfect bound books on less pages than other print companies will do (and the quality was far superior).
